When Moonyeen and I decided that it was time for us to leave our home on the coast at Priester Bluff in Mcintosh county, we were determined we would not live with either of our daughters, so the best option was to look for an assisted living facility.
     We did a thorough search of places including Richmond Hill, Savannah, Brunswick, and St. Simons. We had actually signed a contract with one is Athens, Ga, near our daughter Nan and her husband Don. Our daughter in Claxton, Claire Majors, persuaded us to look at North Spring and we just fell in love with it immediately. We signed a contract with Jill for the two bedroom suite that we will have occupied for the last four years and counting! It has been great to live near our daughter and see her every day. We need her and she needs us. She has made it so easy to make friends with the people in Claxton.
     The accommodations are great and the staff is outstanding. The food is very good (I gained 20 pounds, that I am now trying to lose). Everyone here tries to make our stay safe and secure. The rates are fair and very reasonable.
     We highly recommend North Spring Assisted Living to anyone who needs assisted living care for members of their family.
