My mother, Thelma Thigpen, was one of the first residents of NorthSpring Assisted Living. I cannot adequately express my gratitude for the loving care she received until the day she died at the age of 98. The owner, Jill Griffin, and her staff are wonderful. They treat the residents with dignity and are cognizant of each one’s physical, mental and medical needs. The staff is there to assist in bathing, dressing and with medications. The families are promptly notified if there are any changes they feel might require attention.

While at NorthSpring my mother was not left to sit and stare at the walls. Each morning chair aerobics are offered to those wishing to participate. In the afternoon they play games, watch movies, or someone comes in to entertain or lead in singing and devotions. Sometimes they even shell peas! The residents are taken on picnics and out to eat in restaurants and they really enjoy these outings.

NorthSpring is a “Spic & Span” clean facility. The food is good and nutritious; they even let the residents do some “creative cooking.”

I am so thankful NorthSpring was there for my mother. When my time comes, my name is going on the reservation list. “Assisted” is the key word in NorthSpring Assisted Living.
